Experience

I tutored Spanish 101/102 students at a college level. I also worked with students who wrote for the college newspaper. I helped them develop their writing and critical thinking skills. I would like to continue being a tutor because I enjoy the interaction with students. I feel that my explanations are thorough and students really benefit from the understanding that they gain. I like to help people get over their fear of failing or struggling. We all need help everyday. I minored in Spanish and used my language skills in a native Spanish-speaking environment when I went to Peru in 2008. I majored in English and am familiar with helping students develop their writing skills.
